Daniel Hal is a favorite among Tri-Valley shoppers, who look forward to hearing him sing each season.
PLEASANTON, CA — One of the most entertaining bell ringers in Tri-Valley was recently caught on camera belting out a Christmas favorite. The Salvation Army of Hayward Corps recently shared video of Daniel Hal singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" while at his post.
Hal, who lives in the East Bay, can usually be found in front of Walmart in Pleasanton, according to the Salvation Army Hayward Corps. Hal is also a member of the popular four-man a cappella group called Bay City Luv.
Hal is a favorite among shoppers, who look forward to listening to him sing each season. Hal's a cappella version of the tune is contagious.

The red kettle bell ringers can be found in front of businesses throughout the country between November and Christmas eve and are known for their kind holiday wishes and impromptu serenades. Donations to the red kettles help those in need throughout the year.
