Livermore Men Arrested With Guns, Drugs, Stolen Car: Police

Two Livermore residents were arrested Thursday afternoon in Pleasanton after police received a call of a suspicious car.

LIVERMORE, CA — Two Livermore residents were arrested Thursday afternoon in Pleasanton after police found them in a stolen car with a gun, high capacity magazines, body armor and drugs, police said.

Detectives were called to the scene shortly before 1 p.m. after receiving a report of a suspicious car in the parking lot of Tri-Valley Inn and Suites on Santa Rita Road, police said in a news release. Detectives spoke with a man and woman near the car and determined the car was stolen in Oakland and the men were on probation.

The people were arrested after police searched the car and located the items.
