Loaded Gun, Meth Found During Traffic Stop, Pleasanton Police Say
Police said the Highland man had a warrant.
PLEASANTON, CA — A Highland man who allegedly had a loaded handgun wedged between the driver’s seat and the center console in his car was arrested during a traffic stop in Pleasanton last week. Police said an officer on patrol stopped the driver, later identified as 35-year-old Trever Poppett, and discovered the he had a warrant.
Police searched Poppett’s car and allegedly found the gun, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Poppett was booked into the Santa Rita Jail on suspicion of multiple charges.
