Meet Pleasanton’s Newest Police Officers, Dispatch Supervisor

The police department hosted a swearing-in ceremony this week to celebrate a dispatch promotion and welcome the new employees.

PLEASANTON, CA — Two new officers were recently welcomed to the Pleasanton Police Department. Penngrove native Christopher Kuhr was hired from the Oakland Police Department. He served five years in the U.S. Coast Guard. Kasey Levine grew up in Roseville and attended the the Butte College police academy in Oroville.

Dispatcher Lora Howell was promoted to Police Dispatch Supervisor. Howell, who lives in Pleasanton and graduated from Foothill High School, has been with the department since 1991.
