Michael Reardon Watercolor Demo - Free! Open to the Public

May 10th 2016
Tuesday Evening Meeting * 7:30pm

Alamo Women's Club 1401 Danville Blvd., Alamo CA

Join us for an evening with watercolor artist Michael Reardon. Michael will be demonstrating his watercolor techniques, which focus on the use of light and color in landscapes and cityscapes.

Michael has been painting watercolor for over 25 years. Originally trained as an architect, he received his degree in architecture from UC Berkeley and was an architectural illustrator for over 30 years. He is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, Watercolor West, and the California Watercolor Association. Michaels’s watercolors have been exhibited nationally and internationally, and have been featured in many magazines, including Plein Air, Southwest Art, and The Artist’s Magazine.

Michael is an avid traveler. The artist states that he uses watercolor to record his observations, convey a sense of place and light, and to communicate his impressions of the built, natural, and imagined worlds. His recently published book titled “Watercolor Techniques, Painting Light & Color in Landscapes & Cityscapes” is available at North Light Shop, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble. Michael works from his studio in Oakland. www.mreardon.com
