Mother, Son Fatally Shot In Pleasanton

PLEASANTON, CA — The victims of Wednesday morning's shooting in Pleasanton were a 67-year-old Pleasanton woman and her 28-year-old son, the Pleasanton Police Department confirmed late Wednesday.

The two victims were shot to death in a residence in the 3100 block of Joanne Circle Wednesday at 10:05 a.m., police announced Wednesday afternoon. LPFD personnel declared them dead at the scene.

Pleasanton police said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no immediate threat to the community.

Their identities are being withheld pending notification of next of kin. No arrest or suspect information has been released as of Thursday morning.
