Open Governance (opgov.news) — Pleasanton is now on Waymo's approved map for paid driverless rides, alongside Dublin, Livermore, and San Ramon, though no local launch date is set. State regulators have cleared the way, but questions remain about when Tri-Valley service starts, whether Dublin/Pleasanton BART becomes a pickup hub, and how useful robotaxis will be for airport trips and non-drivers.
