Pleasanton City Councilmembers to Be Sworn In

Pleasanton will welcome Jerry Pentin and Karla Brown as newly elected councilmembers tonight at the city council meeting. Jerry Thorne will be sworn in as the mayor.

Thorne, Pentin and Brown will take the Oath of Office during the city council meeting.

Outgoing Councilmembers Cindy McGovern and Matt Sullivan will be recognized for their service.
 
Newbies Pentin and Brown beat out Erlene DeMarcus in the Nov. 7 election. Cindy McGovern and Matt Sullivan termed out. Thorne, beat out Cheryl Cook-Kallio  to fill Mayor Jennifer Hosterman's seat.
