Pleasanton Cooling Center Open Monday Amid Heat
Air conditioning, phone charges and bottled water will be available.
PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton residents seeking respite from the heat can take refuge at the Pleasanton Senior Center at 5353 Sunol Boulevard from noon to 7 p.m. Monday, where air conditioning and bottled water will be available.
Residents may also charge their phones, the city said. Pets will not be allowed.
Everyone must wear a face covering and practice social distancing. Capacity will be capped at 24 people, the city said.

Anyone who is sick should stay home. Guests will have their temperatures checked and be asked health screening questions upon arrival.
The city reminds residents to limit outdoor activity and stay hydrated.
