Pleasanton To Hear Public Feedback On Police Tuesday
The 6:30 p.m. community listening session will be held to hear what residents think about policing in the city.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton City Council is holding a listening session to garner public feedback on policing at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Anyone may join here via Zoom or call (669) 900-6833 and enter Webinar ID 918 1327 9386.
The council could also consider longer-term changes, such as allocating more money toward or away from the current police budget.

"In this critical time of national concern about police legitimacy and criticism of the law enforcement profession, there is a genuine need and desire to overcome complex societal issues and promote effective crime reduction while continuing to build public trust," wrote City Manager Nelson Fialho, and Pleasanton Police Chief David Swing in a note to the council.
