PLEASANTON, CA — The Alameda County Coroner's Bureau has identified the victim of a fatal stabbing that occurred last Monday in a Pleasanton apartment building.
The victim has been identified as Edevion White, 32, originally from Tennessee. White lived in an apartment building on the 5700 block of Owens Drive, according to the Pleasanton Police Department. At 10:30 a.m. on May 1, authorities found him unresponsive in his apartment. He was pronounced dead shortly after.
Police are still searching for two suspects, whom a witness saw running from the building in ski masks. Pleasanton police said last Wednesday they believe that the suspects knew White, and “specifically targeted him.” Police reiterated on Saturday they do not believe there is any danger to the public.
