Police Nab Gun, Drugs, Stolen Car And Mail In Recent Arrests

Among the loot recovered was mail from East Bay cities, ecstasy pills and more, Pleasanton police said.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Police Department has recovered a smorgasbord of items during recent encounters: a gun, drugs, two furry friends, and a stolen car with stolen mail.

On Monday, police officers spotted a stolen car parked outside of a Starbucks while its driver grabbed a drink. Officers made arrests related to the theft and discovered stolen mail from nearby cities inside, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.

On Tuesday, the police department shared two lost dogs were spotted wandering around town. Dispatcher Amber Wisgerhof and Animal Services Officer Frankie Ayers worked together to reunite pup and parent.

And then on Wednesday, police shared that they had recovered a revolver, drugs, ecstasy pills and more after an encounter with someone at a gas station.

"We're working hard at PleasantonPD and it's only Wednesday!" police wrote.
