Woman Robbed Of Purse While In Pleasanton Driveway
Police said the victim was in her driveway when she was confronted by a trio of hooded suspects.

PLEASANTON, CA — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying three suspects who allegedly stole a woman's purse while she was in her Pleasanton driveway Thursday night. The attack occurred on Chardonnay Drive at about 8:15 p.m. on Dec. 7, police said. Two of the three men assaulted the victim while the third grabbed her purse from her car, according to police.
A neighbor who heard the assault intervened and forced the suspects to flee. Police said the suspects were in a 1990s Toyota Rav 4 or Chevrolet Geo Track. Witnesses described the suspects as thin, black males. They were wearing hooded sweatshirts. Police said construction workers found victim's purse the next morning near the dead end of Nevada Court.
The robbery comes just weeks after an uptick in residential burglaries were reported in Livermore and just days after police shared photos of a car likely casing cars parked in the Positano neighborhood in Dublin. Police are also asking for the public's help identifying a person suspected of burglarizing a parked car in Danville early Saturday morning.
