SEE: ATM Found Dumped Near Pleasanton Creek
"We're still trying to make cents out of how the machine ended up there."
PLEASANTON, CA — How many people does it take to lug an ATM uphill, out of a creek?
Three Pleasanton Police Department officers got in a good workout after a caller spotted an ATM sitting atop some rocks in a creek. Police shared photos of the incident Thursday morning on social media.
The machine had apparently been damaged. The screen dangled from wires and the cover obscuring the cash compartment laid nearby. A roll of receipt paper was strewn to the side.
