See: Pleasanton Students Jam Out At Home With 'Quarantunes'

Teachers and students headed outside at noon Wednesday to play instruments and chronicled their #PUSDQuarantunes adventures on social media.

PLEASANTON, CA — Musically gifted members of the Pleasanton Unified School District took to their yards at noon Wednesday to practice their instruments under sunny California skies.

Participants used #PUSDQuarantunes to share their work on social media.

There was a flutist playing 'The Pink Panther' theme song from his lawn chair and a lively trombone rendition of "La Gazza Ladra" from one student's garage. Another student took viewers inside her a backyard tuba session.

Music teachers Paul Perazzo and Patrick Dandrea played their saxophones in front of Harvest Park Middle School. Some students even set up shop on opposite sides of the street, maintaining social distancing while practicing together.

"Thank you for being safe and sharing your sound!" the district wrote.
