Semi-Truck Caused Car To Flip, Then Fled Scene Of Crash: CHP
The driver was hospitalized after his car was hit on I-680 in Pleasanton, CHP said.

PLEASANTON, CA — A semi-truck hauling two trailers containing gravel fled the scene of a Tuesday morning crash after it hit a car, causing it to overturn, the California Highway Patrol said.
A gray Honda Civic was driving in the #1 lane along southbound I-680 around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday when the semi-truck drifted into the #1 lane, crashing into the Honda and causing it to flip over, according to CHP. The driver, a 54-year-old man, was hospitalized and taken to Eden Medical Center after suffering moderate injuries, including cuts and scratches.
The semi's rear dump trailer spilled gravel across all lanes for some 800 feet. The road was closed for about 20 minutes, then one lane reopened as crews worked to clear the rest of the road. The closure prompted a Sig-alert.
