Sig-Alert Lifted On I-680 After Disabled Big Rig Moved

Traffic was heavy all the way to Fremont.

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — All lanes have reopened after the California Highway Patrol issued an alert for northbound Interstate 680 at Sunol Road Tuesday afternoon. At about 12:20 p.m., a disabled big rig was blocking the number four lane and brought traffic to a crawl.

The CHP responded to provide traffic control and a tow truck. The alert was lifted at 2:18 p.m. No other information was available.
