Starlink Satellites Spotted Over Pleasanton
It's a bird, it's a plane, it's...Starlink? A series of satellites were seen flying over Pleasanton last week.

PLEASANTON, CA — Some people looking up at the night sky last Wednesday might have thought they were seeing Santa’s sleigh. It would be more accurate to describe it as Elon Musk’s sleigh.
Pleasanton resident Kelly McKissack posted a video online of a string of connected silver dots flying over the sky. McKissack said she saw the “line of satellites moving in sync slowly in the direction from Pleasanton to Livermore” at about 5:54 p.m. Wednesday night.
Commenters on her post told her that they were Starlink, a series of SpaceX Starlink satellites that are used to deliver high-speed internet from a low-earth orbit. The satellites were launched from Cape Canaveral in Florida early in the morning on Nov. 8, and sightings were reported across the country.
