Suspect Arrested After String Of Garage Burglaries In Pleasanton
A person committed several home burglaries within the span of an hour in Pleasanton last weekend by entering open garages, police said.
PLEASANTON, CA — A person committed four residential burglaries within the span of an hour in Pleasanton on Saturday before being arrested by police, a Pleasanton Police Department spokesperson told Patch.
The string of burglaries targeted four homes, three of which had open garage doors, allowing the suspect to enter, police spokesperson Teri Yan said. The suspect, who Yan did not identify, stole a mix of bicycles and power tools from the three homes with open garages, Yan said
The spree began around 6:25 p.m. Saturday and lasted about an hour.

"We advise that our residents close their garage and secure their belongings," Yan said.
