Swimming: Amador JV boys Finish Undefeated

Dons top Foothill to finish 7-0

With a 122-48 win against Foothill, the Amador Valley JV boys swim team finished the EBAL dual meet season with a 7-0 record. In the meet against Foothill, the Dons took first place in 10 of 11 swimming events. The parade of firsts was led by Mike Pasquale (IM, backstroke) and Chris Iniquez (200, 500 free) who each won a pair of events.

Amador also had two swimmers who had a first and second. Joey Silva took first in the 50 free and second in the 100 free while Andrew Song won the breaststroke and finished second to Pasquale in the IM.  Cameron Kurotori grabbed the other individual first for Amador, winning the butterfly event.

Each of the three relays went 1-2 for the Dons with Pasquale, Kurotori, Sun, and Camren Chang starting the meet off with a win in the medley relay. Steven Cox, Shri Ghandi, Alec Grotegut, and Silva followed later by winning the 200 free relay, and Pasquale, Chris Mowry, Sun, and Joe Lindley capped the meet by winning the 400 free relay.
