PLEASANTON, CA — All lanes have reopened on southbound Interstate 680 near Bernal Avenue following a report of a horse trailer tire fire, according to the California Highway Patrol. The blaze was reported to the CHP at 11:42 a.m. Three Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department crews responded and extinguished the flames.

The incident blocked at least one lane on the busy freeway for several hours while emergency crews worked to move a truck and horse trailer. The alert was lifted at 2:40 p.m. No other information is available.
