Vicious Hockey Stick, BB Gun Attack Sends Transient To Hospital: Pleasanton Police
BREAKING: Police released the descriptions of the three suspects who were not located and are still outstanding.
PLEASANTON, CA — A transient was taken to the hospital for injuries he suffered after he was attacked by three men as he slept under the Stoneridge Drive and Arroyo Mocho overpass late Friday night, police officials said. Police who were dispatched to the entrance of the Springhouse Apartments located at 5505 Springhouse Dr. discovered the victim, 51, who was injured and appeared to have been in a fight.
“The three suspects shot the victim in the back and arm several times and struck him with a hockey stick,” police said in a statement. “The victim managed to escape to Stoneridge Drive where he flagged down passersby who called 911.”
The victim was taken to the nearby ValleyCare Medical Center for treatment and was later released. Police said he is expected to recover. Police were unable to locate the suspects despite searching the area.

Police said the main suspect is described as a white man, about 18 to 25 years old, between 5 feet 7 and 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and had about three to four days of facial stubble. The other two suspects are being described as men, 18 to 25 years old. Police said one was wearing a black, white and gold hockey jersey.
