Walnut Creek First Wednesday THIS WEDNESDAY!
What: Pull on cowboy boots and a checkered shirt to line dance into November’s Walnut Creek First Wednesdays next free street party. The “Country Fest… Downtown Hoedown” theme includes line dancing lessons set to live music from Barefoot Country while three flavorful food trucks from Food Truck Mafia guarantee a variety of tasty eats. Pyramid beer on tap, a House of Chicken and Waffles hosted wine tent (including food samples), snow cones, cotton candy, artisan chocolates, freshly popped kettle corn, and other delicious treats are available.
Kids of all ages can stop by the Western “Cypress Corral” booth and try their luck at cowboy carnival games for a chance to win prizes. An interactive art cart with a mobile screen printing Western style art, animal ambassadors from the Lindsay Wildlife Experience, and a button making booth will also entertain the kiddos. Visitors can shop at local retailer booths and say hello to Assemblywoman Catherine Baker.
When: Wednesday, November 4, 5 to 8 p.m., and every first Wednesday through June 2016.
