Woman Robbed Outside Pleasanton Bank, Suspect At-Large
Police are searching for a suspect who forcibly took a woman's bag, wallet, and envelope outside a Chase Bank.
PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton police are seeking a suspect who robbed a woman outside the Chase Bank at 4747 Hopyard Road on Saturday.
At 12:17 p.m. on March 14, a woman withdrew money at an ATM inside the bank, according to a report from the Pleasanton Police Department. After she left, a male suspect approached her and forcibly took her tote bag, wallet, and envelope.
The suspect fled in a black Dodge Charger with black tinted windows and no license plates driven by another suspect. Police say the car had a broken rear left window.

The following day at around 3:15 p.m., a caller reported seeing the car around Santa Rita Road and Stoneridge Drive. Officers attempted to stop the car, and it fled, starting a pursuit on westbound I-580. Officers lost sight of the car near Eden Canyon Road. An East Bay Regional Parks helicopter and deputies from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office searched the area for the car, but could not find it.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 20-21 years old, who is approximately 5’7” and 155 pounds.

In June 2025, Pleasanton police investigated at least four to five ATM robberies and physical assaults that occurred all over the city. A 12 and 17-year-old were arrested in connection.
In a separate incident Saturday, Pleasanton police also responded to a reported retail theft at the Stoneridge Shopping Center. Suspects fled the area after making threats to staff, according to PPD Lt. Nicholas Albert. The suspects, who were not named, were later pursued by outside agencies. Two adult males were booked into Santa Rita Jail, and one juvenile was transported to the Juvenile Justice Center.
