Lightning Over Poway: Patch Photos Of The Day

POWAY, CA — It’s been a week of bizarre weather in San Diego County as a monsoon resulted in lightning strikes, scattered thunderstorms, sprinklings of rain, and breathtaking sunsets.

Patch reader Rick Atwood and his son Adam captured the dramatic lightning streaks and sunset.
