Second 'Hit List' Found At Poway Middle School, Officials Say
BREAKING: Authorities are investigating another threat to Meadowbrook Middle School in Poway.

POWAY, CA – Authorities are investigating another threat to Meadowbrook Middle School after a second student's alleged "hit list" was discovered Friday.
School staff found the seventh-grader with a list a students, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. The student was detained, and as a precaution, students whose names appeared on the list have been notified.
Another student was detained Thursday after staff found the eighth-grader with list of staffers and students.

The Poway Sheriff's Station is investigating the threat to the campus, which is located at 12320 Meadowbrook Lane. Deputies plan to conduct increased patrols at the school Monday. Extra patrols were conducted Friday.
