• Pipeline: Hazelden Betty Ford's $40M Campus Upgrade; Addiction Treatment Services Expand in Multiple States (bhbusiness.com) — Rancho Mirage will see a major expansion of the Hazelden Betty Ford campus, with a new 60-bed residential addiction treatment facility planned to open in late 2027 and further renovations through 2029. The project is designed to boost integrated mental health and substance use care locally, positioning Rancho Mirage as an even more important regional hub for treatment services.
   

• Desert Hot Springs students get hands-on look at aviation careers (kesq.com) — Rancho Mirage students helped launch a growing aviation awareness program that's now giving Desert Hot Springs High teens classroom lessons and real flight time at the Palm Springs Air Museum. The district plans to expand the hands-on aviation career exploration to all its high schools, aiming to connect more Coachella Valley students with potential paths into piloting, maintenance and air traffic control.
