Meet Thomas Edison, Vitamin Shots and Young Republicans

1. Meet Thomas Edison. Peter Small will bring the historic scientist and inventor Thomas Edison to life. He will share insight into his inventions and the life he lived. The event will start at 1 p.m. today at the Rancho Bernardo Library. 

2. Need an energy boost? Sprouts will offer vitamin shots to help with stress, decreased energy and more. Naturopathic Doctors will be available to give a variety of natural vitamin B and homeopathic shots. Dr. Austin will be at the Rancho Bernardo Sprouts today from 3-4 p.m.

3. Toddler Time. Rancho Bernardo Area Toddlers are a group of parents with active toddlers. Events are geared towards and include play dates, walks, pool time, visits to local fun spots, family BBQ and more.

4. Rotary Club of Rancho Bernardo will meet today at Noon at Bernardo Heights Country Club. Meet and greet with the new District Governor Carl Kruse.

5. Happy Hour. San Diego Young Republicans will hold their August Happy Hour from 6 to 8 p.m. at Miguel's Cocina in 4S Ranch.
