San Marcos Man Arrested in Death of Woman Found on I-15 Freeway Ramp
The 38-year-old man was taken into custody in Las Vegas on suspicion of killing Fontana resident Elizabeth Perez.

Escondido, CA — A San Marcos man was in custody in Nevada Monday following his arrest on suspicion of murdering his girlfriend, who was found dead two weeks ago in a car alongside an Escondido freeway entrance.
Edward Andrew Long, 38, was arrested during a traffic stop in Las Vegas in connection with the shooting death of Fontana resident Elizabeth Perez, according to police.
A passerby found the bloodied body of Perez, also 38, in the driver's seat of a black Mercury Sable with smashed-out driver's- and passenger-side windows next to an onramp to Interstate 15 from El Norte Parkway early on the afternoon of June 13.
