Decorated 'Tushie Cookies'!

'Tushie Cookies' are the hit of any bridal shower, bachelorette party or girls-night-out-kickin' up-your-heals party. You can make them too!

Of all the decorated cookies I've made none have generated the social media interest that my "Tushie Cookies" have. They've been tweeted about, shown up on Facebook, Stumble Upon-ed, Pinterested and re-Pinned, if that is even a term and inspired many other bakers to get creative and make their own decadent cookie collections. The concept is not my original idea but as far as I know, the name is.

I made the pictured batch for my niece's bridal shower. I accompanied the cookies with all she would need to take after her "Auntie Pasta" (that's me) in the baking department and I tucked in a little lingerie unmentionable gift from Nordstrom which was something, new and blue that says "I Do!" I even made a cookie to look like the lacy gift. The cookies were the talk of the party and everyone had a lot of fun with them.

The Tushie Cookies couldn't be easier to make. To get the shape, take a heart cookie cutter and cut out the cookie and slice off the pointy end. That's it!  Decorate to your little heart's desire (bad pun)! The "tushie tat" of the groom's name is optional but adds that little somthing special, don't you think? ;)

Take these to your next bridal shower and watch the fun.  No if, ands or tushies about it. :)
