Prosecutors allege a 44-year-old woman was driving with a suspended license when the pileup occurred in Aliso Viejo.

SANTA ANA, CA — A 44-year-old woman pleaded not guilty Monday to killing a woman in a fatal multi-vehicle crash in Aliso Viejo three years ago while allegedly driving with a suspended license.

Aishia Offray Deal was charged Friday with one count of murder in the April 5, 2023, crash that killed 51-year-old Rosalba Urquiza, according to court records. Deal was accused of driving while on a suspended driver's license for medical reasons, according to Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Urquiza's son and daughter have filed lawsuits against Deal and others alleging the victim was working for Personal Touch Cleaning and Maintenance Inc. when Deal's Porsche Macan compact luxury crossover SUV collided with the 2004 Honda Civic Urquiza was driving, pushing it into the intersection on Wolverine Way at Aliso Creek Road where it slammed into another vehicle.
