Saturday Prepper Fair Offers Disaster Options
Local Prepper Fair provides an opportunity to experience first-hand what you need to prepare for looming disaster threats in our area.
Are you ready for The Big One? How about the small one? Both can create problems for people who are unprepared to cope with a loss of electricity and drinking water, so Be Ready Inc., is sponsoring a "prepper fair" on Saturday to help people prepare for a disaster, big or little.
The fair, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., takes place at its Oceanside location, 602 Garrison St., at the corner of Oceanside Blvd. Among the opportunities at the Be Ready Store, industry experts will be on hand to answer questions and give demonstrations; learn about food and water storage, see demonstrations on power alternatives, and communication options.
Seminars will be provided throughout the day (I will be presenting twice on the topic of the San Andreas fault).
