Free E-Bike Safety Course Scheduled In RSM: What To Know
The program is designed to educate both riders and parents on the rules of the road when riding E-Bikes and bicycles to stay safe.
RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA β Rancho Santa Margarita residents looking to educate themselves and their loved ones about the rules of the road when riding e-bikes and bicycles were told to save the date for a special program.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department will be hosting an E-Bike and Bicycle Safety Course for all students in Rancho Santa Margarita on Saturday, Feb. 3.
The safety course is available to students between the ages of 12 and 17, the department said in a statement.

Students who attend the safety course will hear from the OCSD's School Resource Officer, who will speak about E-Bike Safety, and rules and regulations of the road. In addition, an OCSD Motor Deputy and Crime Prevention Specialist will be on-site for any questions participants might have.
Free helmets, water and snacks will also be given to students who attend the course, and parents were welcomed to join in on the program.
