Commemorating 38 yrs of Community Support, Local Mother-Daughter Group Collects for Nine Philanthropic Partners at its "Day of Giving" Event

Mission Viejo, CA. (October 2022) – To commemorate 38 years of service in the south Orange County community, the Saddleback Valley Chapter of the National Charity League (NCL), Inc., hosted its annual Day of Giving and Clothing Drive. Donations were collected for nine Orange County Organizations on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the Norman P. Murray Center in Mission Viejo.
“The Saddleback Valley NCL Chapters Day of Giving is always a highly anticipated event amongst members. During the year, our chapter serves the philanthropies we support through time and activity such as delivering Meals on Wheels or serving meals at RSM Community Table. At the Day of Giving event, members donate much needed goods such as diapers, food and supplies that will be used readily by these philanthropies. We also hold a clothing drive which allows our chapter to raise funds for our own organizational reserves too. It's a wonderful event we look forward to every year!” said Sharyn Konick, Saddleback Valley’s Chapter President.
It was a memorable event that created a huge impact to local philanthropies. In addition to the generous donations, the Chapter collected close to 1,300 pounds of gently used clothes and raised over $345.
