Margaret Thatcher:

“Freedom will destroy itself if it is not exercised within some sort of moral framework, some body of shared beliefs, some spiritual heritage transmitted through the church, the family and the school.”

And John Adams: 

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly
inadequate to the government of any other.”

Sarah asks a question I have not heard any other leader or commentator ask in
response to the tragedy at Newtown. 

The politicians in Washington ask “what can we do to limit the freedom of the
people?” 

The Dem Left reflexively proposes more gun control laws that they admit would not have prevented the Newtown tragedy.  [“Never let a good [tragedy] go to waste.”] 

Sarah Palin asks: 

“What can we do to nurture and support a people capable of living in freedom?”
