Frak Texas! California leads 21st Century job growth while the country follows
Texas promotes itself as the job creator capital over the world. But most of its job creation was in Government and low wage jobs.
California leads in growth of the 21st Century Economy. We take risks and lead while everyone else follows. This is shown in the following industries such as information technology, commercial space flight, and clean technology. California invests in human capital of both documented and undocumented immigrants, understanding that our country will encounter a shortage of skilled professionals in the future. So while Conservatives complain about the so called "exodus" of jobs to Texas, these jobs were from sectors that were looking to leave anyway and most likely low wage.
