Regional Industry Clusters: A Progressive Strategy for Broad Based Long Term Growth
We need policies that will promote job growth, Progressives think this is one that will attract the best and the brightest.

According to the Community Idicators Report published annually by the county, the industrial clusters that made up employment in the Inland Empire in 2008 were were Professional services (Approx. 75,000), Logistics (Approx. 72,000), and Construction/Housing (Approx. 58,000). These three industries made up to 85-90 percent of regional employment.
These industries are now suffering, some more than others. The least effected was the Logistics sector.
Professional Services, contained a mix of administrative support functions for the Logistics and Construction sectors and those subcategories probably lost jobs.
