San Bernardino Mitsubishi recently allowed members of the public to test drive its new all-electric vehicle the i-MiEV at the San Bernardino Auto Center.

The battery-powered i-MiEV, which is being rolled out across America, can be charged by plugging into a wall outlet. Customers who purchase the i-MiEV are also eligible for a $7,500 tax credit, according to Mike Graeber, general manager.

Victor Ramos drove from Orange County to test the i-MiEV and gave it rave reviews.

"I am very excited, this is something that a lot of people should look at. It's the wave of the future. I love the fact that I don't have to go into a gas station." said Ramos, who spends $100 per week on gas.

"Mitsubishi is a company that prides itself on developing leading automotive technology," said Cliff Cummings, owner of the San Bernardino Auto Center. "The i-MiEV shows the company is supplying the increasing demand for alternative fuel vehicles."
