That there is a lot to do, and we are "busy" is a fact that most of us can relate to. The following joke caught my attention: George had a leak in the roof over his dining room so he called a repairman to take a look at it. "When did you first notice the leak?" Asked the repairman. George scowled, "Last night, when it took me almost two hours to finish my soup!"
We smile--funny, but where's the relevance? How often are our lives so filled with unimportant things that we miss taking time for the most important things such as family, friends, God...?
So, if your life is anything like mine, let's fix the leak!! Asking for God's help for wisdom in this area is a bonus. Hebrews 4:16, James 1:5& 6 and 1 Peter 1:7 talk about asking both fearlessly and boldly for help. God promises that He hears us and assures us that He will provide at a minimum, wisdom and peace of mind--the rest is between you and God! Take a few minutes to read these passages and fix the leak!
