
San Bernardino, Calif. -Β California State University, San Bernardino will be closed Monday, Sept. 2, for the Labor Day holiday.
The campus will also be closed Friday, Aug. 30, as part of its weekly four-day, 10-hour summer work week schedule.
CSUSB will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at 7 a.m. The campus will also be closed Friday, Sept. 6, as the last week in its summer four-day, 10-hour schedule comes to an end.

Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers.
It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity and well-being of the United States, according to the U.S. Labor Department.

University administrative offices will return to their traditional five-day work schedule at 8 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, in preparation for the start of the fall academic quarter, which will begin with the first day of classes on Thursday, Sept. 19.
