Derry Files to Have His Felony Charge Dismissed

County Supervisor Neil Derry arraignment was delayed to give state attorney general office to review the document.

San Bernardino County Third District Supervisor Neil Derry’s arraignment was continued to June 23 on Thursday.

The Supervisor and his a counsel Thomas Brown and Mark McGuire, with Brown White and Newhouse, appeared before Judge Micheal Dest.

Brown and McGuire have filed a demurer, or challenge, against the complaint filed by the California State Attorney General’s office. They are asking the judge to dismiss the charges.

The case was continued to allow State Attorney General’s office to review the demurer.
