This is a great, family-friendly event that allows kids to see what life was like in California in the 1800s. Some of the free activities include making an adobe brick to take home, hand-dipping candles, cross-stitching bookmarks, making corn husks dolls and taking a tour of the house itself. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy under the trees.
