Food and Brewfest in Downtown Redlands Brings Huge Crowd

Thousands attended the event, held in the Redlands Mall parking lot.

Despite the high temperature Saturday afternoon, thousands came out for the Food Truck and Brewfest, downtown Redlands’ final Jumpin’ June event.

The festival was held in the Redlands Mall parking lot, and featured Lee’s Philly, Ludo Truck, Waffles de Liege, Cousins Maine Lobster, Tropical Shave Ice, Baconmania, WTF (Where’s the Fire) Pizza, Slummin’ Gourmet, Suite 106 Cupcakery, Hangar 24, State Street Winery, and more.

In the early afternoon, most trucks had significant lines, with patrons ordering up fried chicken (Ludo Truck), pancakes and bacon cupcakes (Suite 106 Cupcakery), and lobster rolls (Cousins Maine Lobster). The longest line was easily for Hangar 24, with what appeared to be more than 100 people waiting for a glass of beer from Redlands’ own brewery.

Many trucks, like Suite 106 Cupcakery, ran out of items, with employees racing to replenish supplies.

Admission was $5, and attendees were also urged to bring nonperishable items to donate to Inland Harvest.
