Why Go: This farmers market offers locally grown produce, fresh eggs, hearty bread and gorgeous flowers.

When/Where: 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Sylvan Park, 730 Chapel St, Redlands
Why Go: The Redlands Lawn Bowling Club meets three times a week at Sylvan Park. The club is always welcoming new members, and will provide instructions, bowls and coaching.

When/Where: 6:30 a.m. on Sundays at 25040 Stewart St, Loma Linda
Why Go: The Lopers Club's Loma Linda Chapter is open to runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels. Some of the club trains for the Los Angeles Marathon and Surf City Half Marathon, but there are also programs for those who just want to walk or run for health.
Pricing: Membership is $80 per person, $40 per spouse and $20 for children younger than 18.
