Loma Linda University Health Fair Brings Services to Drayson Center

Participants were able to get free flu shots and basic screenings, and the chance to get more advanced screenings at a discounted price.

Hundreds of people descended on the Drayson Center on Sunday afternoon for their health.

Loma Linda University hosted its annual Family Health Fair in and out of the center, offering free information, screenings and flu shots, as well as information about some of the programs offered by the university.

Besides the health information, there were games and crafts for children and food samples from event sponsors, including Jamba Juice and The Old Spaghetti Factory.

Added this year was a family 5k race that took participants from the Drayson Center up Anderson, through a nearby neighborhood and back.
