NOW HIRING: Walmart Neighborhood Market Looking For 65 Employees

A new Walmart Neighborhood Market is coming to Loma Linda, and the business is now looking to hire some 65 people.

Representatives say approximated 65 store associates will be hired for the store, which will be located in the Center Point Shopping Center at the intersection of Barton Road and Mountain View Avenue.  The location is scheduled to open this summer.

“By offering quality jobs and serving as an anchor tenant for a new shopping center, Walmart is proving itself to be a great economic asset to the community,” said Phil Carlisle, CEO of the Loma Linda Chamber of Commerce.

While construction is completed at the store, a hiring center has been opened nearby for staffing.  That's located at 11326 Mountain View Ave., Suite A, across the street from the new store site.

Representatives say applications will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Interested applicants may also apply online at http://careers.walmart.com.
