Obama-Romney Debate Viewing at the Falconer Pub and Joe Greensleeves

The second presidential debate was on televisions Tuesday evening at The Royal Falconer British Pub and at Joe Greensleeves Restaurant in Redlands.

President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney faced off in the nationally-televised town hall debate at 6 p.m. Pacific Time.

It was around the same time the Redlands City Council met to consider several issues, including a final environmental impact report and conditional use permit for the proposed Super Walmart at San Bernardino Avenue and Tennessee Street.

The Obama-Romney debate was staged at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. The moderator was Candy Crowley, CNN chief political correspondent and anchor of CNN's State of the Union.

The third and final presidential debate is scheduled Monday Oct. 22 at  Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla. The moderator will be Bob Schieffer, chief Washington correspondent, CBS News and moderator for Face the Nation.
