Where Can Redlands and Loma Linda Celebrate Earth Day?

Earth Day is Sunday. If you are looking for things to do, we found a few events happening in our area. Please share with us events you know about.
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore will observe Earth Day with a “Spring Cleaning” donation drive, free electronic waste recycling and a ReStore sale on Saturday.
The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. - 5p.m. People are asked to donate new or gently used appliances, furniture, tools, desks, or other home items. They will also take E-Waste including old computers, TVs, printers, cell phones, or anything with a plug or batteries. Donations help ReStore help our community to divert these materials from local landfills.

The ReStore is at 25948 Business Center Drive in Redlands.
The Highland Library and Environmental Learning Center is hosting an Earth Day celebration from 2 – 6 p.m. on Friday. The event will feature booths and rooftop gardens, a recycling drive for the animals at the learning center.

Closing events at are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. in the courtyard and will feature a guest author provided by Inlandia in the Community Room and a Teen Eco Poetry Slam.

The Redlands Horticultural and Improvement Society Flower Show is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday on the Esri campus, 380 New York St.
Free trees will be given to flower show visitors in honor of Earth Day while supply lasts. The Redlands 4th of July Band will play at 1:45 p.m. Local historian Larry Burgess host a presentation.
Special events will also include Redlands artist Janet Edwards signing her book, “Palms to Peaks: The Art of Janet Edwards,” and a new edition of the club's “Inland Garden Journal,” recently illustrated by naturalist and artist Gene Bauer. It will be available for sale for the first time.
In conjunction with the show, there will be a garden tour of several home gardens and one school garden located throughout the city and a sale of uncommon plants at the club's Plant Propagation Yard in Prospect Park, organizers wrote in a news release.
Show hours are 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Apr. 22. Tickets are $10 for adults, and children 13 and under are free with an adult. Tickets are good for both days and include the home garden tour. Group discounts are available.
