Wildflowers are Dotting the Deserts with Beauty

A solid rainy season has again brought us the beautiful desert flowers that annually color some our landscape.

It may be a smaller number of patches than we've seen in the past. But if you're looking to take a fun day trip, KCET blogger Chris Clarke lists a few spots where nature fans can come out and enjoy the desert blooms.

Of course you can always visit Palm Desert's The Living Desert Zoo and Botanical Gardens.  The garden's there are amazing.
