Paxton's Cellar is at 104 E. State St., Suite L, in the same building as Caprice Cafe.
Philip Paxton is proprietor of Paxton's Cellar on East State Street in Redlands.
He bills his business as family-owned and unpretentious, a place to enjoy "the best wines California has to offer while providing a comfortable, ambient setting to relax and gather with friends."
Before 5 p.m. Friday Sept. 28, Paxton and his daughter Anne Marie McGinn were setting up shop for a "Cali-Alien" wine tasting, featuring California, Argentine and French wines.
